I drove down with the intention of camping at Picacho and doing that one, but the campground was full so I continued on and wound up in saguaro nat. I camped overnight and set off to hike about noon. the trail was very quiet at this point because most of the snowbirds had already hiked it that morning so mainly only saw people coming back and around the petroglyph canyon. It was so quiet I could hear the wind in the cactus spines. took me longer than Id like to admit to the peak but it was gorgeous and worth it <3 also saw a giant spider. checked out the canyon on my way back and ran into some DBG volunteers and chatted about the garden
