First hike of the year. I decided to start with the lower peaks and Sitton seemed like a good warm up. Didn’t expect it to be as warm as 71 degrees! The trail has dried out after the rains, and there were few people on the trail, including a nudist hiker. That shy red fox was a more welcome sighting.
from the trail and from the road above lake Elsinore the snow capped mountains in the distance were inviting. Baldy was easily visible, as were Gorgonio and San Jacinto. Soon….
