Today, our little hiking group was together as a whole and all was well with the world again. Two of us met in the lobby of the hotel where one of us was making small talk with the reservation agent who warned us not to hike wilson because of all of the mountain lions. We set out to the trail head a little freaked out on where we were going today. We made it to the trailhead and waited for the other half of our foursome who made the drive up from Phx that morning. Turns out, we were at different trailheads, 🙂 once we got all together, we set off. One of the most beautiful hikes I have been on yet. Through the first and what felt like a secret garden. Shortly before the bench we did run across some large paw prints that were dried in the mud. Our warning from the morning kept us on alert but we lucked out and only saw a few deer! The hike was easier than I thought it would be and very enjoyable with beautiful views from both view points. What a great hike!
