Started from the Dipsea trailhead near Stinson beach – did the suggested route [https://socalhiker.net/hiking-stinson-beach-to-mount-tamalpais/] up to Mt Tamalpais summit. It started out nice and shady in the woods, then into the heat was we got up to the West Point Inn. Fairly gradual incline all the way to the top. We had a quick lunch break at the top then back down the way we came until we crossed on to the Matt Davis trail at Pantoll Campground back tot he car.
Total of 14.7 miles and approx 2500 fit of elevation. This took us 6 hours including breaks (total move time 5h23).
