For some crazy reason, probably because we were already there, we decided to do Ontario Peak after we did Cucamonga Peak.   We had to pull out our headlamps before we reached the peak.   When we passed Kelly camp, I really wished we were staying there.   Once we reached the peak and could see all the way to the Pacific Ocean it was most definitely worth it.   Absolutely my favorite view from a peak.   And the colors in the sky.   Such an amazing sunset was seen as well.   The walk down was hard.  Like my body was not happy with me.   We started our day at 5:30am and returned to the parking lot at 10:45pm.   My SoCal peak challenge is now complete!!

  1. Absolutely nuts. And believe me I am not in that kind of shape, but I’m way too much of a yes girl. Everyone wanted to so I did. I’m very happy to have completed the SoCal 6 pack off peaks!!
