Upper trail was beautiful most of the way. The Northwest switchback is still icy, but easily passed with caution or Yak Tracks on your shoes. My partner and I bought crampons for practice on the hard packed summit snow. And did use them on the lower ice. It made the hike much easier but not necessary for today's summit. The sky was clear and the view was amazing!
