Never heard of this hike until this year.  Got an early start because we were worried about the heat.  It was somewhat warm on the way down but not nearly as bad as it normally is at this time of year in Lake Elsinore!  The bugs were there but not too bad.  The last 1/2 mile of the trail is incredibly overgrown and very steep!  It is a beautiful view at the summit but with the fog we could not see the coast.  Had a great lunch at Hell's Kitchen on the way out!
