The first challenge begins before you even get out of the car, the road to the trailhead is rocky and bumpy. I recommend high clearance, 4×4 cars will be great. If you don't have any of these vehicles you can also do it, but it will be more difficult. The trailhead is right next to the parking lot which is large and plentiful, especially on weekdays. Almost immediately we left the parking lot and took Divide Road, we realized that the bad reviews that this trail had were true, we saw broken glass from some car, beer cans along the entire trail and 🔫bullet holes in each sign. It made us feel very insecure ⚠️and want to finish the walk as soon as possible. The weather was sunny ☀️ and very clear, we were able to see the Catalina Islands. There is something else to keep in mind. This trail is actually a road and sometimes you will find traffic vehicles. Keep your eyes open. Most of the walk is exposed to the sun with no shade, prepare with plenty of water, sunscreen ,glasses and a hat, in my opinion the hike has incredible views although it is not worth it,so much uncertainty, we will never return
