“A perfect day to hike”. Said me and about a 1,000 other people.
It was fine though. Everyone was well mannered and happy to be there. The views on this hike were incredible. The hike itself is rigorous and took my dog and I about 6.5 hours with a few breaks thrown in. If anyone reading this is thinking about bring their dog, I'd like to let you know there's some tricky parts. My dog is experienced but I felt some parts were pretty rough on her (although she would never complain).
Oh yeah…and I especially like the part where you've hiked up the Old Bridle Path really far and really high up and you reach this beautiful clearing where you see… across from you… the 3 giant mountains that you came here to hike. Oh yea, that's right, you're nowhere close to your destination…just keep on walking.

Great photos! I’m going to be hiking this next month when I’m in New England!
Thanks Jeff! You definitely won’t regret any time spent in New Hampshire during the summer. It’s the perfect weather for getting up into the mountains. Safe travels!
