No. 5 of the #sixpackofpeakscolorado ✅
Yale with the best #TrailCandy! Gorgeous, windy, fun scramblin' at the top, did I say gorgeous? Loved it.
Up next: Team Trail Candy will be hiking the #PikesPeakChallenge as a fundraiser for the Colorado Brain Injury Alliance and finish our 6-pack with Mt Elbert!

Awesome group name and sticker! Did you make these?!
Thanks! One of my hiking partners is a graphic designer so she made the logo for our Pikes Peak Challenge team (Colorado Brain Injury Alliance fundraiser). So good, right?! The best part is that we are a bunch of moms, hence the awesome Your Mom thrown in there too.
She’s a talented artist!
RE: 2022, we have “tweaked” the peaks each year, but haven’t done a wholesale swap. Part of the design is to start with more accessible peaks like Bergen, and graduate to higher peaks. The first year, we had just one 14er (Grays) and now we have four.
What we might do is add some options. We’ve done this in other regions, mostly out of necessity (fire closures and such) but some of them have stuck… which is why there are 11 peaks in the SoCal “Six-Pack” (the 12th is still closed for now). I’ll check out both those peaks you mentioned, though I personally won’t have time to get out and hike them this year. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, send them our way!
Hey Jeff – I’ve got a Q about ’22.
Will you have a different 6-pack for Colorado next year? My group has had such a fun time with the set this year and would love to continue, but with a new set of peaks. (Would love to do Huron and the DeCaLiBron!) Could you give me a sneak peak of me your plan?
