I've been hiking since I was in a backpack on my dad's back. One of my most memorable hikes was a day hike in 2019 up Mount Bisoke, a 12,175 foot dormant volcano in the Virunga Mountains of Rwanda with my husband.  We've also done Mount ‘Baldy' and parts of Mount San Jacinto in southern CA.  I've recently fallen back in love with hiking up mountains and hope to connect more with my niece as we complete the New England challenge this summer and fall. We're planning to do some of the alternate peaks this year and then work up to completing the classic 6 in the 2022 season.
