Do you hear the howl that echoes through the mountains, blows through the trees and skims across the water?   Tis the Hound of Mt. Sizer.  He has haunted this land for centuries and will haunt it for centuries more.  His presence is always with you on your hike throughout the land.  His howl a constant reminder of the hardship of your journey, the heavy weight of your pack, and the pain in your feet. To hear his howl is to feel the hunger in your stomach, the thirst in your mouth, and the exhaustion in your bones.  Most importantly, he haunts the trail you suffer… to guide your perseverance.
