Hi! Yes you can. If you are looking for the Bay Area challenge (formerly known as the NorCal challenge), start with the 2023 finishers here: https://socialhiker.net/six-pack-peaks-challenge/san-francisco-bay-area/2023-finishers/

Hi Gina!
Welcome packets for all of the 2024 challenges (including SoCal) will begin shipping the last week of December. Once the challenge officially starts on January 1, 2024, we begin shipping welcome packets as people register, typically within 5-7 business days or less.
Right now, I'm working hard on finisher certificates for our 2023 challengers. 😉

We fixed the issue with the confirmation emails. It doesn't “retroactively” send emails, but rest assured, you are all set. – Jeff

The welcome packets will ship as soon as we receive our enamel pins (hopefully sometime next week). Note that you do not need to wait for the welcome packet to start your challenge. You can log hikes as early as January 1st.

Welcome packets have not been mailed yet. We are waiting on one more “ingredient” that has shipped but we have not received yet. I'm hopeful that we'll get it next week and can start mailing out the welcome packets.
Note that you do not need to wait for the welcome packet to start the challenge or log your hikes.
Also note that the 2024 challenges will show up on your dashboard by January 1st, the official start date.

I just sent out an email update on the welcome packets this afternoon. Check your inbox. 🙂

He should get an email with instructions on setting his password. Note that the challenge begins January 1st, and the dashboards (both on the web and in the app) will “go live” later this month. You both have access now to the 2024 SoCal Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge group.

You were automatically added to the 2024 San Diego Challenge group. You can view this if you go to “My Groups” on the website or via the app.
The “log a hike” and other functions on the dashboard (both on the app and the website) will automagically appear later this month, before the challenge starts on January 1st.

Hi Jeff. I checked on this and your welcome packets were not sent. You should've received yours by now. It looks like there was a number of people who did not get their Arizona Winter welcome packet, but should have by now. I will check into this on Thursday morning and get back to you via email.

AdministratorNovember 1, 2023 at 12:07 pm in reply to: Question about SO CAL Six Pack, SAWMILL MOUNTAINHi Sherri! The 3-2-1 challenge is not organized or affiliated with the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge. It's run by the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce, and you can read more about it here: https://www.mymountainchamber.com/321-challenge
ONE of the peaks in the 3-2-1 challenge is Sawmill, which is also a peak in the SoCal Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge. So a lot of Six-Pack challengers will do Sawmill, and ALSO do Pinos (which is on the way to Sawmill) and Grouse (which adds mileage, but isn't too bad). That way they not only get one badge in the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge (for Sawmill) but can also complete the 3-2-1 challenge.
Does that make sense?
