I have always had a love and fascination for the outdoors since I can remember. I have been hiking since I was a kid. When I hike I am reminded to live in the moment and a great sense of joy overcomes me. I am grateful that I have the health and strength to hike because I know there are many people in this world who wish they could hike to. So when I hike now I keep those people in my heart and hike for them.

I am a music teacher for Norwalk La Mirada Unified and I absolutely love my job. My vocation is my vacation. I teach choir and guitar and my students are absolutely amazing.

I am a single father of three amazing kids. My daughter, Emily is studying to be a teacher at Vanguard University, my son, Dominick is serving in the Navy and stationed in Bremerton, WA and my youngest son, Chris still lives with me and is my hiking buddy. He has completed three of the six peaks with me so far. I am grateful to have him as a son and hiking partner. We have hiked Strawberry Peak, Mt. Baldy, and Mt. Baden Powell together. We are planning on hiking Sitton, Santiago, and San Jacinto to complete the six pack peak challenge. We also want to summit Ontario Peak and San Gorgonio.
