Hey all! I'm Antoinette. I'm a 37 year old hiking aficionado. I got into hiking about 3 years ago when my boyfriend of 5 years took me on a few hikes with him. At first, I wasnt a fan at all because I hadn't prepared or conditioned at all but after a few hikes, I began a love for the outdoors and hiking. I now lead my own hikes with meetup with the San Diego Hiking Ladies, Walking and More Group and Hike Fit Poway. I lead hikes for women of all ages at all levels. I love exploring my hometown of San Diego for new hikes to show my boyfriend, friends and group. I also love visiting places outside of San Diego to explore the hikes in those areas as well. One of my favorite spots to hike is in Yosemite National Park. Last year, I was able to summit Cloud's Rest in Yosemite, a tough hike but also the most beautiful. This hike was on my bucket list as I couldn't complete it just two years ago. But I completed it last summer. Now I often can be found hiking with my boyfriend or meetup groups. I thank hiking and meetup for helping me get through the Covid-19 pandemic.
