I love the outdoors and being surrounded by nature is healing for my soul!

I've been actively participating in Triathlons the last 9 years but, as I mature in life, my body doesn't seem to like the things it once did.  Having back to back ankle surgeries in 2013/2014 followed by radiation treatment for a rare joint disease, I'm being forced to shift my interests toward non-impact sports.  So this hiking challenge is GREAT to still remain active and keep fit!  I will continue to swim/bike/run as much as possible, but plan on doing more hikes in the future!
