Mount Elden

We had made initial plans and they kept changing. Finally we decided to hike Elden. The morning was nice with clear skies. The only downside

Okay let’s be real, this hike was not 2.5 miles to the top. It was 2.8. And maybe that doesn’t seem like a big change

The day was overcast and hit rain at the top.  Not too muddy and a lot of hikers. Still a beautiful hike!

A warm sunny day, with some big breezes at the summit!  Completed with my 17 y/o son, who has been working on his hiking fitness

Liked this one!!  Felt pretty good and appreciated the shorter miles.  Opted to not do Fat Man’s Loop.  Had a good day with mom.
