O'Leary Peak

Beautiful weather day. Hike up is no joke. Fantastic views all along. Ranger Mallory was nice enough to invite us up to the tower.

Great hike following Elden from the previous day. O’Leary is beautiful but just so dang boring. It was my third time hiking this trail so

The trail was easy for the first mile with slight decline, but then the incline started and was worse the last mile before the lookout

The gravel/sand road made this hike a little more of a challenge.  Last mile was not a joke!  Lots of bugs at the tower.  View
