It was a beautiful sunrise hike to the summit of Bear Mountain for peak one of the challenge.
Had a beautiful blue bird day on Monadnock. Temps were in single digits. Trail conditions were great. Definitely recommend spikes or crampons above tree line.
Very cold. Windy at higher elevations and summit. Trail was hard packed snow, over ice in some areas. Spikes , trek poles needed. Some postholing
