Mount Greylock

Today was magic! The trail was a combination of snow, slush, and ice. The final push up the last .4 to the summit was BRUTAL.

Very cold. Windy at higher elevations and summit. Trail was hard packed snow, over ice in some areas. Spikes , trek poles needed. Some postholing

February 6th we started our way up to summit Mount Greylock in North Adams, MA via the Cheshire Harbor Trail up to the Appalachian Trail.
