Mount Monadnock

After our failed attempt at a birthday hike up Washington we nailed Monadnock on a bright sunny day as a little closer to home redemption

First hike of the 6! Generally overcast but descent conditions. A little fog and mist in the air so rocks were a little greasy.  Extra

A little greasy and high winds on the Summit made for a great hike!

Only small spots of snow left- none on trail. Overcast afternoon but beautiful, nonetheless. No need for spikes or poles!

This was a difficult hike due to snow and ice. I only have trail running shoes and surly should have worn micospikes. We monitored the
