Tried to go in at Deadfall lakes trail head but it was closed. Started at Point Creek Trail. Probably took away some elevation gain but

Views were incredible. Look around at the top and see Shasta, Lake Siskiyou, Castle Crags, Trinity Alps. Lakes along the way to jump in. Very
