Super stoked to sneak in number 6 right before the snow rolls in!   This challenge was pretty tough with the huge winter and late start. I saved this for the last because of the elevations but I handled that

We started out on the Bunny Flat Trailhead.  Lots of parking and facilities there.  Supposed to be a 6.5 mile route but we meandered here and there and ended up doing 8.16 miles.  Once you hit the steep rocky area,

The well-maintained path around the lake suits all hikers. Benches are strategically placed for rest and lake admiration. A particular highlight is the panoramic viewpoint, offering an elevated perspective of the shimmering lake set against towering mountains. The sun's play

Hiked on September 30, though some weather hit during our hike. Trail to the Horse Camp was simple, and we enjoyed the Olberman’s causeway all the way from Horse Camp to the foot of the step hike of Helen Lake.
