I have only ever previously hiked Mission Peak from the Stanford side, and I’m glad to say I finally tried the ascent from Ohlone College.
It was nice outside but super windy. It was a little tough getting up the peak with a large wind blowing at us.
First hike of the challenge. Saw cows…we joked that the last climb to the peak was a free solo. It was windy and cool. Line
Less crowded trail to the heavy trafficked Mission Peaks. Wide open green pastures and even saw a Mother and her newborn Calf.
