Mount Diablo

Someone told me this is an easy hike.  I don’t think so.  It was hot!

Solid sunshine and 80 degrees the whole 6 hours so very dry. The visitor center at the top has ice cream.

Mt. Diablo via Mitchell Canyon is my first peak for this challenge. I set out on a Saturday morning…which happened to be my second day

We started 10:30 am.  It got very hot by the time we reached the summit.  We should have started earlier.  It took us 2.5 hrs
