Perfect, clear day for the hike. Started early around 8:30 – 9ish. Went around the Mount Diablo Summit via Mitchell Canyon Loop – 14 mile
Trails were good, downhills were long and challenging. Hot and hot! I felt great after completing the hike in 6 hours.
It was a smoke filled, hot as Hades kind of day by early afternoon (Appropriate for Devil's Mountain). In the summer, get an early start.
