Mount Sizer

Just east of Morgan Creek, Mount Sizer may not match Diablo, Tamalpais and Saint Helena for eye-popping scenery, but it gave the masochist in me

Certainly one of the more challenging day hikes I’ve been on.  It’s a beautiful state park.  No views of any civilization. Wild flowers were blooming

Ahhhhmazing hike….In part due to the fact that we took Friday off from work to do it. We left Santa Cruz at about 6:30 am;

Good weather and clean trail suitable for RV all the way up. Instead of continuous ascend this trail is equivalent of climbing 3 mountains up

We started at 6:45 hike from Monument Trailhead, and finished just short of 7 hours. We did an out & back trip from Visitor Center.
