Peak #2! I went out for this 9-ish mile jog, starting from the Bald Mountain parking lot, with the goal of summiting Mt Umunhum another
First of six peaks. My partner and I set out midmorning and reached the peak for lunch. Interesting views of San Jose and air traffic.
Very well maintained trail. Bathrooms at the parking lot and summit but I drinkable water. Lots of shade so bring a sweater for winter hikes.
Off to a good start for 2022, though it’s the easiest peak, and the one closest to home! I sent a note to about 20
loved the hike. the weather was beautiful. it is a shaded hike and is not too difficult
