I showed up at 7ish and was able to park in the small dirt lot just past the trailhead. Would highly recommend being early
Sitton on a Sunday
Nice, easy, gradual climb up until the last half mile or so where you need to do a little scrambling and it gets pretty steep.
First peak of the year!
There was plenty of parking at the parking lot when we arrived at 8:30 a.m. The trail condition was great and the weather was nice

Sittin’ High on Sitton Peak
I hiked to Sitton Peak via the Bear Ridge and Sitton Peak Loop Trail. Roundtrip was 10 miles with about 2,100 feet in elevation gain.
