Great day hiking Mt Pinos,  Sawmill Mountain and Grouse Mountain.  It was only 8° driving through Frazier Park, but was 30° at the trailhead and

Trail was in great shape, free of snow.  Continuous 8000 ft hike for 10 miles.   Was a chilly start but layers were fine.  Escaped the

Beautiful Trail!  Well maintained, not crowded, and scenic.  Found my peace…love being in the mountains!

Hiked to Mt Pinos (did not see a sign), Sawmill (2 signs present), & Grouse Mountain (unable to find sign, but branch teepee was there).

My friend and fellow Six Packer, completed our first peak of the 2025 Challenge. With Mount Wilson closed due to Eaton Fire we choose to
