We got to the trailhead and started by 6:30am, with the early start we were able to beat the heat. The trail was overgrown in
Hot. Started at 6:45, reached summit around 9:30. Took 2 liters of water. Everyone ran out of water for that last mile back. Hot.
This hike was brutal, but we completed it and checked off another one. It was very hot and there is little shade throughout this hike.Â
The hike was great, the heat/humidity not so great. It’s a fun but tough hike! Looking forward to the rest!
