Cucamonga Peak

This was my first big hike ever. The view were spectacular. The last quarter mile was really hard. But it was fun to be on

Great peak to start off this challenge! Weather was absolutely perfect, surprisingly cool day for August. Definitely arrive early, parking lot was full by 6am.

We all met up at 5:30am to an already full parking lot. Daylight was just coming up at 6am when we stepped foot on trail

arrived around 5:30 AM on a Sunday… Lots of cars in the parking lot, but the trail to Cucamonga and the summit were fairly quiet

Started around 6am and we could smell smoke from distant fires, but it turned out to be fine.  Love hiking on weekdays since it’s pretty
