Cucamonga Peak

Easily one of my favorite hikes in SoCal.

Three peaks down, three to go! Hiked Cucamonga during the week and trail traffic was minimal past Icehouse Saddle. We had the peak to ourselves.

Went up the long way to the left and that was long and scary. Very rocky up to the saddle. Fine after that. Great views.

Ice House Canyon is always beautiful.  Stream running nicely.  Wasn’t too busy for a Sunday.  Parking was available at 6:15am.  Got hot towards the summit
