Beautiful sunny day to summit Mt. Baden Powell. The first couple of miles up the switchback are free of snow, but then the trail disappears
2.5 miles from the trailhead with 80% snow coverage. Nice fun hike and snow play with a new friend that I made! Hi Judy!
Fun trek, weather was great, very little wind. Trail was only available for first half, then it was straight up to the top through snow.
The hike started with switchbacks ;however, they soon disappeared under the snow ❄ and we couldn't find the trail? Soooo, we foraged our way straight
Mount Baden-Powell, 7.8 miles with a 2700 ft elevation gain. Six-pack of peaks #4 80% of the trail was covered by snow, with switchbacks only
