Started the day as just a quick fitness hike up to Smith Peak tryin g to save my old legs for Baldy Friday, but felt
Snow patches here and there towards the top. Did not need micro spikes. Great day overall. Camped overnight and met lots of cool thru hikers
I started up from Vincent Gap at 6:45 am. There were only a few others at the parking lot or on the trail during ascent.
Trail conditions were fairly good. Some snow still in some areas but Microspikes were not needed.
