Mount Baden-Powell

So we thought we did very ‘thorough’ research .. but turned out we did not! Trail was nice starting out, but very icy and snowy

Trail was in great condition and the winter conditions were amazing. Felt good to get the gear out of storage and hit the snow. Definitely

Very chilly wind but after we started hiking there were some warm spots and not terribly bad. We had to wear Yaktrax in our shoes

First snow hike for me. Snow at about 2 miles in. Microspikes and trekking poles needed. Icy spots in some sections.

Snow most of the hike. So beautiful and magical. Too bad someone took the flag at the summit 🙁
