Way harder than I thought it would be!

Ascended via the Notch and Devil’s Backbone from near Manker Campground starting at 7:00am. The hike was strenuous but very doable. Trail conditions were good,

Finally, I summited Baldy! Not easy as expected… View is breathtaking!!!  Hiking above the clouds is a treat! Another fun hike with bunch of overachievers:)

Started early to beat the crowds.  My 1st time to go up thru Baldy Bowl for the ascent.  We normally take the Devils Backbone route. 

It all started with a simple text… where are we hiking this weekend???? and all of sudden we were gathered in a dark, cold morning
