We started at 12:15 with no sleep and that just added another layer of crazy. 16 miles that had cactus ridges and snow all in
I made it to about 3/4 mile from the top via the tram back on 01/10/18, but had to turn around. Didn't expect that much
I thought about turning back so many times. I am so glad I didn't. It was my first peak and the first time I've hiked
The snow was absolutely beautiful and in most places, untouched and flawless! We got on the 8AM tram and started the hike at 26 degrees.
It was sunny after it snowed the day before. I got to use crampons for my first ever snow hike.
