Mount San Jacinto

Weather was clear, strong wind gust second half of ascent. Temps 60 degrees. Beautiful hike and rocky.

We loved starting in Idyllwild as I had never been there….cute little town! The cappuccinos and breakfast burritos at Alpaca Coffee and Tea were fantastic.

Was the 2nd day of re-opening the tram. Was cloudy most of day until almost completed hike. Some light rain in am. Beautiful weather as

Foggy. Rainy. Cold. Not much visibility at the top. But relatively easy trail. One more!

This was my favorite six peak challenge thus far. The forest was still damp from last week’s tropical  storm and to top it off, it
