Mount Wilson

This was my first time hiking Mt Wilson up to the observatory, had loads of fun with my wife.

Loved hiking this trail with my husband, perfect weather conditions during this tome of year.

Started at 8:30am in Sierra Madre, summited Wilson at 12:50pm, back to Sierra Madre by 5pm. This was my very first hard hike.

Planned on taking my dog to Henninger Flats for her daily walk. Met a hiker (Chris) at the gate to the trail. Didn't know him,

Last two times I summited Wilson it was via Chantry Flats and I didn't know this trailhead existed. I wasn't expecting to immediately start climbing

This was my first time to hike to the Peak of Mount Wilson from the Mount Wilson Trail.  It really is a long ridge walk.
