Decided to try this hike out by summiting Cucamonga, then going over Bighorn, and then onto Ontario Peak. Total hike from the car was close
Took the Sugarloaf and Ontario Peak via Falling Rock Canyon. Got a late start launched at 11 am. Great trails and conditions up to Ontario
Since Mount Baldy trail is closed, there was no parking at the icehouse canyon trailhead. There also multiple peaks to get to from this trailhead.
6.5 hours parking lot full at sunrise, so parking in the street added mileage
10/12/2024. Much cooler temp compared to last weekend's hike on another mountain nearby. Partly sunny. Creek flowing strong. Expansive views of LA & San Bernardino
