San Bernardino Peak

Great hike today!  We started at 6:30 am which was perfect.  The whole first hill climb was in shade and the weather was great.  

The burnt forest and abundant and blooming wildflowers made this an unusually beautiful hike. There is no escaping the sun due to the burn out

Absolutely awesome trail. We’ll maintained and smooth up and down. Crazy to see how much damage the fire created but tons of wild flowers. Only

We got a later start than we wanted to – around 7. Parking lot was full and had to walk a bit to the trailhead.

Trail conditions are good, nice weather, lots of wildflowers along the trail, no bugs at all, a few snow patches but no need micro spikes.

7/8/2023: I was so blessed to hike with 3H Hiking Group up to San Bernardino Peak.  Many hikers were flocking up it.  I saw Philip
