San Gorgonio

Long hike via South Fork to San Gorgonio Peak. Trail well indicated and maintained. Some snow patches but very easy to cross, no equipment needed.

This was a training hike to do Mount Whitney.  We did this hike two times and one more time via the South Fork.

Hiking the last day of the month on San Gorgonio was very rewarding!  19 miles with the fun group,  Adventure Sisters was exciting and exhilarating!

Throughout the hike you could see low clouds below you which was really cool. Eventually the trail turns to where Mount San Jacinto is visible

Vivian Creek to San Gorgonio is always a nice hike.  Although it was cold, we had full sun. No snow on the summit yet…
