Made it to the top of San Gorgonio in July 29th on the 3rd day of backpacking. Left the backpack at camp at Red Rock
Hiked from Fish Creek Trailhead starting Friday and camped at Fish Creek Saddle Camp. Made it to the trailhead with my 06 Tundra….2 wheel drive.
First time at this peak and I loved it. Â So many great views. I am planning on returning soon.
Bugs were terrible on the lower mountain less of an issue at the top but still present. Hike took 11.5 hours, it was 19.46Â mi
Started in the trail at 8 am and back at car by 6:50 pm. Started raining when we got near the  peak! It was gloomy
