I have hiked Santiago at least 5 times, but never from Holy Jim! It was a beautiful hike with colorful leaves and streams/creeks. I loved

Perfect Cool weather with barely a breeze. The trail is in great condition. The last couple of miles, my feet were really feeling it. Overall

Beautiful day hiking up to Santiago Peak. Started at the Holy Jim trailhead. Highly recommend to have a high clearance vehicle and/or 4WD.

Santiago Peak – Holy Jim Trail opened up around March of last year after being closed from the fire a few years back (2018?).  This
