I have hiked this trail many times but first time in snow. What a difference!! It took the difficulty up several levels not to mention

The hip deep snow made the hike very difficult,  it totally worth it.

Well, completing the 3, 2, 1 Challenge in icy conditions seems to be a tradition in the since we’ve done it that way 2 years

Slippery beautiful day on the Three Peaks trail. Trail snowy the whole way but micro spikes handled the terrain.
