Started at 0700 only 3 other vehicles in the parking lot. Used this trail to try out my new 65L Osprey with my AT loadout.
Started the trail just before 8:30am. Beautiful views over Los Padres National Forest. Nice fields of wildflowers on the approach to Mt. Pinos. The turn-off
This was the most beautiful trail I’ve done so far in California. The flower meadows and pine trees remind me a lot of the PNW.
