Really nice trail and a perfect day for it. Decent distance to drive, but we made it out early and had a solid morning /
Weather was perfect and Trail was always visible. No bugs!
Started at 9am at the Pinos trailhead and summited Sawmill at 10:45am. Only saw two hikers on the trail. Very quiet and pretty. Spent 15
Started at 0700 only 3 other vehicles in the parking lot. Used this trail to try out my new 65L Osprey with my AT loadout.
Started the trail just before 8:30am. Beautiful views over Los Padres National Forest. Nice fields of wildflowers on the approach to Mt. Pinos. The turn-off
This was the most beautiful trail I’ve done so far in California. The flower meadows and pine trees remind me a lot of the PNW.
