spent the night at Chula Vista Campground the night before… Woke up and had a great experience getting on the trail without the morning drive!!!
Nice and easy hike. We brought the big backpack to train for some longer backpacking hikes.
Quiet, few people. Except for bugs, no signs of any form of life (Except people) anywhere. No birds, no squirells……….. nothing. 11 miles Pinos/Sawmill/Grouse, nothing.
