Strawberry Peak

Climbed Strawberry Peak with the Girls Who Hike Banana Team on March 31, 2019.

2nd peak for our group. Last bit was intense with a few fake-outs and scramble on all fours. We laughed through the pain ????

Fun Sunday hike up to the peak. Easy first two miles. More challenging from the split, but not really a scramble.  Trail was not too

Start to finish: 4:20 hrs Distance: 7.11 miles Elevation gain: 2,003 feet Good: priceless view Bad: very narrow trail next to steep cliff (some section)

Tricky trail! Lots of steep scrambles, some rocky and some sandy. Somewhat overgrown. Tons of spiney spikey yucca, too. Call me a billy goat because
